328 Kindle Version Review.... I had to wait for this version, NRSV, of the Bible to come to the Kindle, but the wait was worth it. I have been using it for almost a year now and feel I can review it more appropriately with time and experience under my belt.My review is only for the Kindle ebook. If you are wanting to know more about this version/translation of the Bible, please go to the NRSV website.This is NOT a "study" Bible, you will not find someone else's interpretation of what things "mean" for you. For those wanting to "proof text" or simply quickly look to see where certain popular words are used there is a concordance at the end. There are also footnotes. You can search for words, but it does take time as it goes through all 70k plus pages or as they call them locations. During the search, when the word is found, the Book, an excerpt with the word highlighted and location number(page number) are shown. Just simply touch the one you want to view.I have found it easy to navigate through the books, take notes, highlight, etc. I use it regularly for Bible study and whenever else I need a Bible. Since it is on my Kindle account I can access it (and all my notes and highlights) on my Kindles, iPad and iPhone, though there are additional features available on the Kindle that are not accessible on my iPad.Yes, one does have to go back to the Table of Contents and/or "flip" pages to get to the particular verses, chapters and books. But I have never found this inhibiting, probably what one does now with a physical Bible. Would I like the ability to just enter the Book, chapter and verse, yes.
